Skills and Experience
Suitable candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Fully experienced in MIG welding steels up to 12mm thickness
- Ability to read and work effectively from detailed fabrication drawings
- The ability to weld other materials such as stainless steels, alloys etc. advantageous
- Fully competent in the use of hand and air tools
- Capable of working to demanding deadlines
07.00am to 18.00pm finishing at 2.00pm on Fridays (45 hours) some flexibility is available on start times.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC Setter / Operator for our client in the Newcastle under Lyme area. This is a temporary to permanent role for suitable applicants.
- Previous experience is essential
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Prepare and load materials into the machine
- Supervise machine whilst it executes the task
- Handling of metal products
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- The operators will work under the guidance of the section supervisor, working to a weekly programme to produce metal products. Quality is integral to production output and the understanding of, and working to, controlled drawings would be beneficial.
- The ability to work unsupervised as well as effectively working as part of a dynamic team.
SALARY WILL BE DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE
