You will apply full-coverage decals to trailers, bodies and cabs, working to specification and maintaining high standards of finish and safety. This role would suit someone practical, organised and confident working independently while meeting production requirements and deadlines.
What you’ll do
- Fit full-coverage decals, including ancillaries, to a consistent high standard.
- Measure, set out and align decals accurately in accordance with job specifications.
- Identify and rectify any rework that arises during production.
- Complete daily check and inspection sheets and maintain accurate documentation.
- Communicate with managers to meet production sequencing and deadlines.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safe working practices in your area.
- Produce work efficiently to agreed timescales.
What you’ll bring
- Proven capability to carry out the full decal fitting process unsupervised.
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications and drawings.
- Understanding of type approval considerations relating to decal placement.
- Willingness to mentor and support the training of new staff.
