We are looking to recruit an experienced Band Saw Operative for our client in the Tunstall area.  This role would be temporary to permanent after a probationary period.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has worked within a manufacturing environment producing wood related goods.

Job Description

• Using a Band Saw to assist in the manufacture of wooden products
• Set up machines to ensure that production deadlines are maintained
• Read an understand drawings and technical information.
• Effectively monitor the machine during the process.
• Other related duties, as and when required.

Required experience

• Previous experience operating a Band Saw, CNC or Edge Band (Wood)
• Some mechanical knowledge would be beneficial
