Required experience

We are looking to recruit an experienced Bench Joiner to work in a busy manufacturing environment.  The use of current operational manufacturing techniques together with the use of powered hand tools and machinery will be required for this niche roll.

Suitable candidates will be have the ability to read from simple technical drawings and text to enable the start of the manufacturing process.

Skills required:

• Ability to read from technical drawings and text
• Select suitable timber
• Accurate measuring
• Accurately cutting wood according to drawings and plans minimizing waste
• Other related duties as and when required

Role

• Report any inaccuracies or any other problems before manufacture

Hours: Days – Mon – Thurs: 6am-5pm and Fri: 6am-4pm.

Hours of work are 7.30am to 4.45pm, Monday to Friday.

Unlimited overtime available.

Suitable candidates will be required to carry out a weld test.

You will be joining an established and friendly shift assisting in the production of articulated trailers, so previous experienced will be required.  Reliability and the ability to be punctual is essential.

Day & Night shifts available

We are recruiting for fully skilled Decal Fitter to join a well established production team. You will apply full-coverage decals to trailers, bodies and cabs, working to specification and maintaining high standards of finish and safety. This role would suit someone practical, organised and confident working independently while meeting production requirements and deadlines.

What you’ll do

• Fit full-coverage decals, including ancillaries, to a consistent high standard.
• Measure, set out and align decals accurately in accordance with job specifications.
• Identify and rectify any rework that arises during production.
• Complete daily check and inspection sheets and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communicate with managers to meet production sequencing and deadlines.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe working practices in your area.
• Produce work efficiently to agreed timescales.

What you’ll bring

• Proven capability to carry out the full decal fitting process unsupervised.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and drawings.
• Understanding of type approval considerations relating to decal placement.

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced HGV Technician, the role is both mobile and workshop based and does involve working both days and nights on a rota pattern.

The Role:
